Job Description

Purpose & Scope:

The Administrative Coordinator is responsible for the efficient day-to-day operations of the department(s). This individual coordinates scheduling, events, classes, in-services within the department(s). Responsible for oversight of departmental billing and financial reporting to include tracking inventory, expenses, purchases, and identifying cost-saving opportunities. Performs clerical duties to include patient registration and customer service responsibilities. Maintains departmental records and files. Assists management with developing, presenting, and maintaining operational reports. Attends all required meetings and in-services for the department(s).

Education:

High school or equivalent is required.

Experience:

Five years of office management is preferred.

Two years of Microsoft Office Suite experience is required.

Certification/Licensure:

None.

Working Conditions:

Administrative: Works in a well-lighted/ventilated office setting. Subject to frequent interruptions. Willing to work beyond normal working hours when requested to do so. Minimal occupational exposure to infectious diseases, blood borne pathogens, hazardous chemicals, noxious odors, latex, or musculoskeletal injuries. May encounter patients, family members, co-workers, and visitors under all conditions, e.g., hostile and/or emotionally upset.
