SC&A Inc Emergency Planning Supervisor in Arlington, Virginia
SC&A is seeking a qualified Emergency Planning Supervisor consultant (1099) to prepare various emergency procedures and guidelines for nuclear power plants as well as supervise staff who have experience executing such procedures.
Required Education and Experience
Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Nuclear Engineering and/or Health Physics.
20 years of nuclear reactor licensing experience, with at least 5 years of direct experience in preparing one or more of the following documents for commercial nuclear power plants:
- Emergency operating procedures (EOPs) and EOP bases
Emergency Action Levels (EALs) for the Fission Product Barrier Recognition Category of EALs
Severe Accident Mitigation Procedures (SAMPs) and SAMP bases
Severe Accident Guidelines (SAGs)
Long-term coping procedures and bases
Extreme Damage Mitigation Guidelines (EDMGs)
Experience working directly for a nuclear utility (preferred).
Superb attention to detail.
Expert written and oral communication skills.
Adept analytical and problem-solving skills.
Organizational and time-management skills.
Ability to handle information confidentially
This is a remote (work from home) opportunity connected to our office in Arlington, VA. Must be located in the US.
