The North America Retail Revenue Accounting team leads all revenue accounting efforts for Amazon.com, Amazon Grocery, and the non-integrated subsidiary space. This role partners with some of the largest companies acquired by Amazon to drive goals and seek ways to ensure that these subsidiaries can operate in-line with Amazon's global policies and processes.
Key job responsibilities
-Lead monthly financial statements reviews
-Partner with subsidiaries to execute review controls
-Serve as the primary liaison between the subsidiary's accounting leadership and internal Amazon teams
-Research and conclude on accounting policy, including documenting accounting positions related to new business events

Basic Qualifications
5+ years of finance or a related analytical field experience
Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field
Preferred Qualifications
CPA
Knowledge of internal control framework (specifically COSO) to assess control design and operational efficiency
Experience in accounting management in Big Four with Fortune 500 clients
Experience researching and documenting support for accounting conclusions

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $81,100/year in our lowest geographic market up to $179,500/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
