Job Title Maintenance Mechanic (FDIC)
Job Summary:
EMCOR Government Services has an immediate need for Maintenance Mechanic in Washington DC & Arlington VA, Monday-Friday 11pm - 7am (subject to change). This position is covered by the CBA for Local 99.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct a routine assessment of the building systems operations for both DC and Virginia locations.
Perform tests, tours and analyzes data to assure the proper operation of building machinery.
Perform perform minor repairs, preventive maintenance and service requests on building equipment, machinery and components located in the interior or exteropr of the building.
Qualifications:
3 – 6 years’ experience in a commercial environment.
Current CFC Universal License
Must be able to work any shift assigned
Must be to work weekends.
Must be able to work overtime.
Must be able to work safely.
Must be a self-starter.
Must be willing to adhere to company policies.
Physical Demands:
- Work requires an abundance of walking, bending, kneeling, and working in uncomfortable positions.
