Physical Therapist, Inpatient (Acute Care)

We are looking to add another dynamic Physical Therapist to join our team! At VHC Health, the Physical Therapists rotate through different units every 3 months, which allows the team to treat a variety of patient populations and diagnoses including orthopedic, oncology, cardiac, medical/surgical, neurology, ICU, and trauma. What is unique about this department is that all therapists have the opportunity to follow their passion and focus on a specialty through the VHC Therapist Residence Program. Another factor that adds to the team’s success is that we have a solid onboarding process, which includes a new hire mentorship program. We also have a high level of collaboration amongst fellow coworkers. To make sure we are providing the most for patients, the Rehabilitation Department is actively involved in care coordination rounds and is an integral part of the interdisciplinary team. Our inpatient therapists are involved in hospital-wide initiatives to provide the best patient care, including safe mobility promotion, delirium prevention, wound prevention, and improving outcomes with trauma, post- operative, and stroke patients. This team boasts a supportive and positive culture, flexible schedules and excellent work life balance. There are incredible opportunities for career growth including climbing the clinical ladder and potential promotions to lead therapist. Since VHC Health is a stand-alone hospital, there are tangible opportunities to effect change.
