Allegient Defense is a Small Business providing technically oriented services from program management to advanced systems integration and engineering. We support Government and prime system integrators with engineering and management expertise. Allegient Defense helps clients with challenging Science & Technology, Engineering Acquisition, and Program Management Mission requirements.

Allegient Defense is a leader in advanced technology research and solutions development, and we are growing quickly. We are looking to hire Program Analyst for one of our DoD clients.

The Program Analyst will have demonstrated experience related to mission support, management support, and general administrative support—preferably in the arena of Federal S&T and basic research funding—and be willing to contribute to these areas when appropriate based on background.

  • Providing administrative support to program officers (POs), international program officers (IPOs), and/or program coordinators (PCs) to include collecting, compiling, documenting, and distributing input for quarterly and annual reviews, site visits, and other events.

  • Assist in the administrative and logistical preparation and execution of reviews and workshops.

  • Prepare investments packages within client business management system(s), such as Microsoft SharePoint and internally developed databases.

  • Review investment packages for administrative completeness and forward for management approval.

Management Support:

  • The Program Analyst shall support the management personnel in multiple portfolios, divisions, and external offices. Tasks include:

  • Monitor investment packages and portfolio schedules/budgets against established timelines and execution plans to ensure timely investment actions.

  • Provide bi-weekly Grant Status Tracking reports on high-priority and/or special interest packages.

  • Coordinate technical inputs from personnel and provide responses in requested formats (e.g., memos, spreadsheets, presentations, etc.)

  • Review accuracy of metric and budget data.

  • Maintain and organize electronic files within shared storage drives according to supplied file structure, including briefings, documentation, reports, and tasker responses.

  • Support investment packages requiring Human Research Protection Office (HRPO) approval or Air Force Surgeon General, Office of Research Oversight and Compliance (AF/SGE-C) approval, for human research and animal research protocols, respectively.

  • Support MIPR processing.

General Administrative Support:

  • Provide receptionist responsibilities when required, including answering phones and routing messages appropriately, taking messages, sending and receiving FAXs, etc.

  • Attend progress meeting to provide status of investment packages, assigned tasks, etc.

  • Attend departmental meetings as directed, such as Director’s Call, Commander’s Call, Security Briefings, and similar.

  • Complete mandatory training.

  • Perform administrative review of documents and briefings for proper format, spelling, and grammar

  • Provide Defense Travel System (DTS) authorization and voucher Non-DTS Entry Agent (NDEA) support.

  • Provide facilitation and preparation of oral and written responses consistent with OASIS SB Labor Category Administrative Professional responsibilities.

  • Instantiate and maintain a team commitment to process execution and improvement, quality assurance and control, and exceptional customer service.

Requirements

Experience Requirements

  • 2+ years’ experience in mission support, management support, and general administrative support.

  • Knowledge of and experience in monitoring programs and/or projects.

  • Must be able to gather, assemble, and analyze facts, draw conclusions, plus develop and articulate solutions to complex issues and problems.

  • High degree of skill in both oral and written communication

  • Ability to perform analysis.

  • DoD Acquisition Professional Development Program (APDP) Level I Program Management certification, or equivalent, is desired.

  • Proven record of accomplishment with effectively organizing, directing and managing administrative team in support of a client.

  • Ability to effectively communicate at senior levels within a customer organization.

Education:

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • An initiated T-1 investigation or equivalent

  • A favorable Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) fingerprint check

  • A favorable National Crime Information Center (NCIC) check obtained.

  • T-3 and/or T-5 security investigations could be required over life of the contract.

  • This position shall be assigned to the client’s Arlington office for the duration of the task order.
