Amazon Sales Operations Coordinator, Kuiper Goverment Solutions in Arlington, Virginia

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world. The mission of Project Kuiper’s Government Solutions (KGS) is to leverage Kuiper and provide high speed, low latency, and secure satellite broadband services to United States and allied government customers.

We have an immediate opening for a Sales Operations Coordinator to support the Kuiper Government Solutions (KGS) team focusing on global Government customers. As the Sales Operations Coordinator, you will assist Kuiper Government to achieve its revenue goals, working with technical, business and operations staff. This will include, working with the sales team to ensure database integrity, generating sales data reports, compiling performance metrics, and establishing trends to provide actionable insights for the global business development team, develop and maintain sales dashboards and reports that track Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to support data-driven decision-making, business planning, financial planning and implement operational and process improvements. The individual must have the ability to communicate effectively across multiple technical and non-technical business units. Successful members of this team collaborate effectively to solve data and operational problems, implement new reporting solutions, and deliver successfully against high operational standards.

The best candidates will have sales execution experience, strong financial acumen and a deep operational and analytical background. Demonstrated expertise in Salesforce CRM and Einstein Analytics is preferred. They will be able to support execution of a strategic sales operation strategy and ensure required investments are provided to the business plan.

Key job responsibilities

This role is responsible for developing and implementing Project Kuiper’s government sales operation execution strategy. You will be responsible for developing, managing and leading the KGS sales operation approach. This is a unique opportunity to assist in the development of a global broadband communication system. You will work closely with the Kuiper and KGS business development teams as well as the strategy, finance, engineering and product teams to cultivate, develop, and institute best sales operations practices across the enterprise. In addition, you will be responsible for delivering actionable, objective insights to KGS leaders to inform the strategic go-to-market approach.

In this role you will:

• Support implementation of a Sales tracking tool with appropriate analytics embedded dashboard for accounts, leads, pipeline, funnel, planned meetings, opportunities, cases (order management, services/field support)

• Support the global sales processes, policies, and metrics data assembly for order management, customer onboarding, and account management

• Maintain and develop sales operations tools or reports that align, and simplify, monthly business reviews, annual planning, and forecasting processes

• Create operational templates and processes to compile and standardize disparate information that drive standardized reporting and metrics tracking (including, but not limited to those related to Service Level Agreement)

• Support sales management strategy and implement tools to facilitate positive customer experience

• Support catalog/list pricing and active deal (price) management across the KGS products and services

• Take ownership of data in the KGS Sales CRM, including contact management, documentation tracking, filing, and billing coordination

This position is in Arlington, VA. Some travel, primarily domestic, will be required.

Security Clearance : Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a US Government security clearance of TS/SCI, so you must be a U.S. citizen for consideration.

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in information technology, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Business or related field

  • 4+ years in sales operations, business operations, and/or finance

  • 4+ years experience with Saleforce (or similar tool)

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of finance, business management and sales operations experience

  • Expertise in maintaining and organizing a sales pipeline to facilitate generating new business and expanding partnerships with existing customers

  • Experience with Confluence and JIRA

  • Experienced in government SATCOM needs
