Accenture Security Delivery Associate Manager in Arlington, Virginia

Security Delivery Associate Manager (Accenture LLP; Arlington, VA): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Security Delivery Associate Manager in Arlington, VA, and the job duties are as follows:

  • Provide Tier 2 and 3 (severity 1, 2, 3, 4) level troubleshooting and resolution of device-specific issues which are affecting the clients log ingestion stream.

  • Proactively monitor for and resolve platform issues which affect clients log ingestion stream.

  • Ensure tickets are actively updated and record detailed information from clients, contribute to the MDR knowledge base, and contribute to projects and initiatives.

  • Serve as technical point of contact for the Security Engineers, and own and actively suggest changes to key standards, processes, procedures, and templates.

  • Ensure clean handover between shifts (global and local), Device Tuning Requests and Termination Requests, and escalate issues to engineering team as required.

  • Train and mentor engineers on processes, technical expertise, and professional skills.

  • Handle emergency calls (Severity 1) in response to technical escalations.

  • Develop and support automation efforts.

  • Provide day-to-day guidance to Security Engineers and actively participate in interviews for potential candidates.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

Must have a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, Management & Information Systems, Cyber Security, or related field, plus 3 years of experience in Security Engineering.

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following:

  • Solving technical issues in Windows, Linux, Endpoint Security, EDR, and AWS;

  • Solving technical issues regarding SSH, TLS, TCP/IP, HTTP, Syslog, Firewall, and Proxy;

  • Developing and delivering technical presentations to clients and vendors using PowerPoint, Microsoft Teams, and Zoom;

  • Implementing, troubleshooting, and maintaining systems that use TCP/IP and routing, firewall technologies, and information security principles and practices; and

  • Using application firewalls, Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), Intrusion Detection Systems (IDS), and Intrusion Prevention Systems (IPS).

Must have willingness and ability to travel domestically approximately 5% of the time to meet client needs.
