As a Senior Technical Program Manager (TPM), you find clear paths through roadblocks, provide escalation management, anticipate and make tradeoffs, and balance the business needs versus technical constraints. You will have an ability to take large, complex programs and break them down into manageable pieces, develop functional and technical user stories, then deliver them in a successful and timely manner. Maturity, high judgment, negotiation skills, ability to influence, analytical thinking and leadership are essential to success in this role.

A day in the life
As an AB Operations Sr TPM, you manage a suite of in-flight initiatives for high-visibility, high-impact programs for AB customers by driving collaboration across a wide swatch of technical and operations stakeholders. A typical day may involve running a review of product requirements, preparing and presenting a project status report to leadership, and driving an escalation to unblock a critical dependency; or all of the above.

WW Ops Amazon Business is building the operations and supply chain solutions that is enabling Amazon Business’s rapid growth by re-engineering our shopping experience and supply chain to offer bulk, consolidated, pallet deliveries and other features that business customers require.
Basic Qualifications
7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
3+ years of software development experience
Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
Preferred Qualifications
5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $133,900/year in our lowest geographic market up to $231,400/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
