Insight Global TSSCI Veritas System Administrator in Arlington, Virginia
Job Description
An employer is looking for a Veritas System Administrator to sit in Arlington, VA. This candidate will be responsible for the operations, maintenance, and upkeep of the Veritas Netbackup application across multiple environments. This candidate should be able to technical input and perform tasks related to the development, deployment, and configuration of the current operational environment. In addition they will monitor backup jobs across multiple platforms, and conduct periodic disaster recovery scenarios. They will manage and execute complex database backups, particularly in SQL and Oracle environments, create and maintain documentation, and adhere to in-house documentation for repeatable processes.

Skills and Requirements
Active DOD Top Secret level security clearance and be eligible to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI. May be required to obtain CI Poly in future.
Bachelor's degree and 8-12 years hands on system administration experience; add'l experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
DoD 8570 IAT II certified.
5+ years' experience with Veritas NetBackup 8.x or greater
5+ years' experience with MS-Windows, Solaris, and RHEL/OEL Linux environments
2+ years' experience with VMware 7.x or greater Prior experienced with DISA and DISA's support to mission partners null
