SigmaTech, Inc. US Space Force Mid Program Analyst in Arlington, Virginia

Sigmatech, Inc. is seeking a Mid Program Analyst to support the US Space Force (USSF) Office of the Chief of Human Capital (CHCO), referred to as the SF/S1. The S1 is responsible for executive leadership and managerial direction for the Space Force in all functional areas of personnel management to include force structure analysis; personnel programs; civilian personnel; readiness; senior leader matters; compensation; quality of life and quality of force issues; equal opportunity; and family support for military and civilian personnel located at 175 locations worldwide in support of the service’s space missions.
This particular effort is focused on the S1’s responsibility to identify and execute all Personnel Management Act (PMA) requirements and tracking information; developing and executing the PMA process of all Guardians; implementing and managing military policies and requirements; and defining career force management guidance, plans and programs. This position will support the SF/S1 mission conducted in Arlington, VA. Remote or hybrid opportunities are TBD.
Responsibilities:
Perform administrative tasks including maintaining records, schedules, and correspondence
Manage staff actions for the supported office using the ETMS2 Task Management Tool application
Analyze incoming tasks and assign responsibility for their completion to the appropriate staff section; develop processes to enhance staffing efficiencies
Monitor progress on actions; generate metrics to demonstrate accountability for meeting deadlines and quality expectations; prepare periodic reports on action status and keep leadership aware of late, pending, new actions.
Coordinate responses and assess for accuracy prior to senior management review.
Manage and execute the action tracking process: develop standard operations procedures and serve as facilitator for users’ requirements.
Required Experience:
Required Skills:
Familiar with ETMS2 (Task Management Tool), Comprehensive Cost and Requirements System (CCaR), SharePoint, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office
Ability to design/maintain/control permissions for USSF S1 SharePoint sites, work with government to maintain centralized sites and databases
Exceptional communication skills and ability to foster collaboration in agile environments
Ability to collect, organize, analyze, and visualize large amounts of information with attention to detail/accuracy
Ability to create and edit written correspondence
Initiative and ability to plan, work and deliver independently
Preferred skills:
Pentagon knowledge and understanding of Pentagon organizations
Knowledge and familiarity with current Defense Department efforts in space
Staff experience supporting DoD agencies within the past 3 years
Familiarity with TMT and/or or other HQ staffing tools
Patience in working with non-technical end users
Ability to pick up new concepts quickly
Required Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s Degree mandatory, plus 10 years (15 years preferred) of experience in office administration, personnel, policy, analysis, MS Office Suite, or equivalent experience/responsibility
5 to 10 years of experience overseeing knowledge-related activities, including the management, capturing, sharing, and accessibility of knowledge assets
Secret Security Clearance
Preferred Education/Experience:
Master’s Degree in personnel, policy, or task management
Prior military Personnel Systems Management (PSM) training/background highly desired and/or background in systems integration/programming, or equivalent experience/responsibility
Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work under pressure with multiple deadlines
Advanced industry technical certifications
