UL, LLC Treasury Manager in Arnhem, Netherlands

As our global footprint expands, we are seeking a Treasury Manager who will be responsible for the management of various treasury functions including the oversight and direction of UL Solutions’ European cash management function, providing treasury representation on various cross-functional teams, and supporting Treasury leadership with various initiatives.

This role will be a hybrid-based position from our Arnhem office in the Netherlands

  • Leads cash management process for the region. Supports treasury globally on cash concentration and consolidation goals and processes, including the European Cash Pool

  • Manages and coordinates in-region intercompany loans and settlements (including netting), dividends between UL entities and capital contributions.

  • Manages the alignment and consolidation of bank activity for in-region entities.

  • Manages bank account administration (including Know-Your-Customer requirements), the creation of wire transfers, and debt compliance analysis and reporting as applicable.

  • Manages the analysis of treasury accounts and processes, and recommends, and implements process improvements.

  • Cash forecasting for legal entities to manage liquidity and bank facilities.

  • Manages Bank fees and fee structure, daily cash position, and short-term investments

  • Oversees investment management for in-region post-retirement plans

  • Supports Finance and other functional management on various issue resolutions.

  • Represents Treasury on various cross-functional teams and provides support on company initiatives.

  • Performs other duties as directed.

  • University Degree (Equivalent to Bachelor’s degree) in Accounting/Finance.

  • Ability to work effectively with other internal functions including: Accounting, Tax, Legal,

  • Insurance & Risk Management, international affiliates, etc. to ensure successful treasury initiatives.

  • Excellent communication skills with experience working across multiple levels and functions. Ability to clearly communicate information and deliver presentations. Strong analytic, organizational and project management skills with a strong attention to detail.

  • Proactive problem-solving skills including the ability to define possible issues and provide proactive solutions, working on cross-functional projects.

  • Experience working in a global business environment with a sound understanding of global processes and transactional flows.

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Accounting theory and principles. Strong computer proficiency. Treasury workstation experience is preferred.
