Sr. Process Engineer
Job Description
We are seeking a Sr. Process Engineer to support oil and gas projects, specifically focusing on processing facilities and compressor stations. This role involves leading a multi-discipline engineering team on projects, supervising design personnel, and providing technical guidance. Responsibilities include reviewing and approving designs, assisting in the development of design guides, and serving as the lead Process Engineer on medium to large projects. You will manage the engineering activities, schedule, and budget of assigned projects, perform complex engineering tasks, and mentor less experienced engineers. Additionally, you will interface with other disciplines, vendors, clients, and contractors, prepare advanced specifications, and ensure compliance with specifications through vendor interaction and site visits.

Qualifications:
• BS in Chemical Engineering (or higher)
• Oil & Gas experience is essential (mid-stream is preferred)
• Minimum (6-15) years in engineering: field experience, experience working in the oil and gas industry or onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical manufacturing, or refining.
• Experience as the lead engineer on medium and large multi-discipline projects
• HYSYS/Promax/VMG Symmetry process simulation software experience preferred
• Experience providing process safety engineering advice for quantified risk assessments, assessment of safety instrumented systems, alarm management, preliminary risk assessment, and layer of protection analysis.
