Insight Global Strategic Account Manager in Arvada, Colorado
Job Description
A rapidly expanding American based worldwide Industrial Pump and Compressor company is growing its Chemical and Industrial sales team in North America. They are looking for a remote Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to lead and coordinate project-based opportunities within the Chemical segment to grow market share. The company Engineers, manufacturers, and produces custom industrial systems for large EPC clients like Black & Veatch, Technip, Worley, and Fluor and is wanting to expand its reach into key chemical accounts. This role involves mapping key chemical customers buying processes, expanding acceptance on Approved Vendor Listings, and driving awareness of new products like mag-drive, sealless technology solutions. The SAM will develop and manage key corporate relationships, stay updated on industry intelligence, and grow the opportunity pipeline.
Were looking for someone with a deep understanding of the chemical industry, technical selling proficiency with industrial level equipment (Ideally pumps, compressors, turbines, or similar), and strong commercial acumen. If you have pre-established relationships at key chemical accounts and experience working with EPCs or licensors, thats a huge plus. Youll need to be able to explain technical products to both technical and non-technical audiences and be ready to travel up to 50% throughout North America.

Skills and Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Business, or similar
7+ years in industrial equipment sales at an OEM (ex. Dow, Dupont, Chemours, Arkema, LyondellBasel, BASF)
2+ years of experience selling industrial equipment to the chemical industry
Ability to explain technical products to clients
Ability to travel up to 50% Experience calling on EPCs (Black & Veatch, Technip, Worley, Fluor) null
