SOS International LLC Power Plant Lead in As Sayliyah, Qatar

This position is contingent upon contract award

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Power Plant Lead to lead a team of power plant operators, technicians, engineers, and other staff who work together to run and maintain the power generation facilities to support the Contractor’s labor force and resources to meet the overall O&M requirements of the Contract.

Essential Job Duties

  • Support the Power Generation Manager.

  • Ensure safe, efficient operation of the power plants.

  • Plan and schedule daily, weekly, and monthly activities.

  • Monitor and control performance and efficiency.

  • Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.

Minimum Requirements

  • Associates degree; OR 10 years of experience managing power plants of similar capacity can be substituted in place of a degree.

  • Possess a professional license or certification such as the Power Engineer Certification (PEC) or the Certified Power Engineer (CPE).

  • Perform duty 24X7 so that power generation remains uninterrupted.

  • Provide regular reports and feedback.

  • Have demonstrated experience in supervising and training power plant operators.

Work Environment

  • Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.

  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.

  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
