    Typical Responsibilities Will Include:

    Safety

  • Project safety implementation and management in accordance with Donley's Safety Program.

  • Safety Audit Process - walk the jobsite and discuss with field personnel what we can be doing to make the jobsites safer.

  • Participate in all incidents/accidents aggressively, including going to the occupational medical facility with the co-workers as determined by the PM.

  • Lead safety training sessions (toolbox talk, STA, Friday morning session).

  • Enforces Site Specific Safety Plans created by enforcing Donley's rules, including co-workers, other crews, and any trade on site. Be willing to discipline noncompliance. Ensure that STA's are done correctly.

    Operational

  • Leads Foreman's meetings and ensure safety is discussed.

  • Facilitate weekly whiteboard meetings, 3 week look ahead, and foreman's planner implementation.

  • Initiate morning stretch and flex huddle, and delegate/communicate current issues, safety, schedule, feedback, concerns and ideas to all current craft team.

  • Prepare, review, update and analyze project schedules on a regular basis with subcontractors, vendors, and PM; communicate any schedule changes or adjustments.

  • Monitor site production goals and schedules; code time and units.

  • Actively coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, vendors and craft to meet project schedules.

  • Complete daily project reports, Concrete log and sign-in sheets.

  • Review Productivity Reports weekly with PM, during weekly concrete meeting.

  • Review/mark-up shop drawings.

  • Ability to execute verified punch list items confirmed with PM in a timely manner.

  • Select proper equipment and methods for projects in conjunction with PM; perform tool inventory.

  • Perform QA/QC audits on work in place, including shoring, placing, steel reinforcing, post-tensioning and all other compliance items with project specifications. Perform Pre-Pour checklists for all pours.

  • Provide input when selecting and/or coordinating form system designs with field and engineering personnel.

  • Promotes Donley's culture of safety, innovation, integrity and reliability.

  • Maintain broomed clean jobsite at the end of each day.

    To be successful as a Project Superintendent, you will need:

  • At least five (5) years of progressively responsible roles in concrete construction on commercial projects; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

  • OSHA 30 certified preferred.

  • First Aid/CPR certification within past 24 months preferred.

  • Strong oral communication skills; ability to communicate with all levels, both internally and externally.

  • Well-developed analytical and problem solving abilities.

  • Able to organize work, engage in a variety of tasks simultaneously and consistently meet deadlines.

  • Able to perform duties independently.
