Job Title: Electrical Apprentice

Job Description

Join our team and contribute to installing basic electrical equipment and systems adhering to all relevant plans, specifications, codes, and industry standards. Responsibilities include running rigid (1.5 inch) pipe down to gear boxes, wiring 3-way switches, assembling, installing, testing, and maintaining electrical or electronic wiring, conduit, cable, equipment, components, and devices associated with electrical equipment. You will also be installing and mounting electronic controls, devices, panels, sensors, and components, testing electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures using testing devices. Tasks also involve working with Electrical Distribution systems, wiring up 480V, installing conduit, wireways, pulling wiring/cables, and terminating cables while reading and interpreting electrical blueprints and control wiring diagrams.

Job Type

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 5 Month(s).

Work Environment

Located in Ruther Glen, VA, working hours are Monday – Thursday 5:30 am - 4 pm, and Friday 5:30 am - 2 pm. Currently working 4 10-hour shifts and an 8-hour shift but transitioning to a straight 40-hour workweek (4 10-hour shifts). The role is based in a well-maintained manufacturing facility.
