Aerotek Maintenance Operator in Ashland, Virginia
Aerotek is hiring Maintenance Machine Operators in the Ashland, VA area!
Description:
Operate concrete pipe producing machines
Repairs of equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of equipment
Perform mechanic skills - mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines
Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments
Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment
Use a variety of hand and power tools, and material handling equipment in performing duties
Skills:

Additional Skills & Qualifications:
-Previous experience working in the concrete industry or similar environment
-Ability to troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues
Work Environment: Dirty, indoor/outdoor
Culture: They have a great work culture - average tenure is between 5-10 years. They value opinion of newer people coming in who have new ideas.
Team Size: Team of 8-10 technicians between 1st/2nd shift
Dress Code: T shirt, jeans, steel toes
Shifts : Need to be flexible for either (they are willing to work with people on hours)
5:00am-1:30pm
9:00am-6:30pm
Pay : $20-26/hr.
