Project Execution: Planning and Coordination
Lead projects from planning through execution, including resource management, timelines & budgets controls, Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, operations, and supply chain to align project goals & deliverables.
Design and Drafting:
Utilize AutoCAD to create precise 2D technical drawings and schematics for manufacturing systems and components.
New Product Manufacturing Setup:
Lead the setup and commissioning of new manufacturing lines, including the installation of equipment, development of efficient processes, and training of personnel.
Process Optimization:
Enhance manufacturing processes by integrating advanced technologies & methodologies to boost efficiency & elevate product quality.
Tools and Fixtures Development:
Design and fabricate custom tools and fixtures to support production processes and ensure precision in manufacturing.
Education and Professional Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Advanced degrees or certifications are a plus.
3-5 years of experience in Manufacturing Engineering with a strong focus on project management and with specific experience in manufacturing process, tools and fixtures development, conveyor systems and new product manufacturing setups.
Demonstrated experience in managing projects related to process optimization, system integration, and new product setups.
Proven project management skills, including planning, resource allocation, and budget management.
Strong technical knowledge of manufacturing systems, such as conveyors and automation technologies.
Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills for working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Strong capability in developing and optimizing manufacturing processes.
Experience in creating and implementing tools and fixtures.
Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting and technical drawing.
Expertise in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, CATIA, or similar) for designing and simulating manufacturing systems. (optional)
Work Environment:
- Typically based in a manufacturing plant or industrial setting.
