Acosta Group Director Field Operations in Atlanta, Georgia

DESCRIPTION

The Field Operations Director will manage and supervise the activities of the Field team. Lead the overall execution effectiveness of the field team including Driving Sell Out, visit compliance, training compliance, cost control, and metrics reporting.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Essential Functions of this Position

  • Leading the activities of field management through coaching, mentoring and hands-on training to ensure program guidelines and core Service Level Metrics are achieved and client expectations are met

  • Monitor and analyze the field related business metrics for the program and providing a plan for continuous improvement

  • Managing resources to deliver against program's field budget with input/ information from the Sr. Director, Client Services

  • Develop strong relationships with the client/retailer field management team

  • Assist in the development and implementation of all training for Mosaic field employees and program specific initiatives. Work with key retailers to develop/strengthen partnerships

  • Proactively provide feedback to Director, Internal Operations about opportunities to improve field performance and execution

  • Work within team and with other Directors, Field Operations to identify and implement best practices

  • Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum Education and Work Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree Preferred

  • Ten years’ experience with a retailer or marketing services provider to include the following

  • Four years previous Territory, District and or regional management experience within retail, managing a team dispersed throughout a large geographical area

  • Working knowledge of human resource disciplines including employee relations, performance management, and federal/state respective employment laws is highly preferred

  • Consumer electronics background preferred

  • Sales experience required for a sales-oriented program

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Requirements

  • Ability to managing a national, geographically dispersed workforce, preferably for a third-party vendor

  • Ability to develop tracking and monitoring performance on a daily/weekly basis

  • Collaborative, detail oriented, good, and consistent follow through, Strong leadership skills

  • Strong organization, analytical and prioritization skills
