As a Director in the Containers, Kubernetes and Serverless group at OCI, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. You will lead a group of Product Managers defining the AI infrastructure products and services to power the AI revolution. Most products this group will handle will involve coordination across all our organization's functions (networking, compute, architecture, etc.) This team will also work with industry partners to build and deliver new products. This team will also help communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and champion collaborations with groups and ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities and provide valuable insights and recommendations for our containers and serverless strategy.
Job Description
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) combines the elasticity and utility of public cloud with the granular control, security, and predictability of on-premises infrastructure to deliver high-performance, high availability, and cost-effective infrastructure services. Multiple compute options provide the flexibility to run the most demanding workloads and less compute-intensive applications in a secure and highly available cloud environment. Customers can self-service provision virtual machines alongside bare metal servers and clusters on the same virtual cloud networks through a unified web console, APIs, CLI, or via industry-standard tools such as Terraform and Chef. OCI's approach gives the customer choices for storage, such as industry-leading local NVME storage or elastic network block storage.
The Containers and Serverless (CKS) group at OCI delivers OCI’s managed Kubernetes experience, containers and serverless products. Kubernetes and serverless technologies are key technologies driving the AI revolution. Our flagship product is the Oracle Kubernetes Engine (OKE) It is used by various internal and external customers, and we're actively adding features-from Kubernetes to deeper integrations with OCI and to better allow cluster management. The team operates a 24x7 service at scale. We have a large roadmap of features to enable scenarios for new customers coming on board in the coming quarters.
As a Director of Product Management for CKS Products, you will lead a group of Product Managers defining the containerized and serverless products and services to power the AI revolution. Most products this group will handle will involve coordination across all our organization's functions (networking, compute, architecture, etc.). This team will also work with industry partners to build and deliver new products. This team will also help communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and champion collaborations with groups and ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities and provide valuable insights and recommendations for our AI infrastructure strategy.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Product Vision & Strategy: Define and implement the vision, strategy, and roadmap for Registration and Scheduling products, in line with the CKS product strategy.
Customer-Centric Approach: Engage with OCI stakeholders to gather insights, ensuring the products address market needs and improve patient access and scheduling experiences.
Product Development & Innovation: Drive new product development and enhancements to existing solutions, utilizing innovative approaches to meet market demands and improve competitive positioning.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with engineering, marketing, sales, and other teams to manage product releases, integration, and successful deployment to clients.
Data-Driven Decisions: Leverage market research, analytics, and feedback to inform product direction and prioritize features based on customer impact and business goals.
Agile Product Management: Own the product backlog, define user stories, and lead Agile development to deliver solutions that address real-world challenges.
Thought Leadership & Evangelism: Serve as a product ambassador, sharing the product vision and strategy through presentations, conferences, and social media.
Quality & Continuous Improvement: Maintain a focus on delivering high-quality solutions and fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
Leadership & Mentorship: Lead and mentor a team of product managers, fostering an environment of collaboration, creativity, and customer-centricity.
Preferred Skills and Experience:
10+ years of experience in product management, with significant experience in IT infrastructure and cloud.
Strong understanding of containerization, Kubernetes and serverless technologies is a big plus.
Proven track record in managing full product lifecycle from concept to release.
Exceptional communication and presentation skills.
Ability to lead cross-functional teams and influence stakeholders.
Data-driven mindset with a focus on user experience and market competitiveness.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related fields; MBA is preferred.

US: Hiring Range in USD from: $139,200 to $291,800 per annum. May be eligible for bonus, equity, and compensation deferral.
Oracle maintains broad salary ranges for its roles in order to account for variations in knowledge, skills, experience, market conditions and locations, as well as reflect Oracle’s differing products, industries and lines of business.
Candidates are typically placed into the range based on the preceding factors as well as internal peer equity.

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
