TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Electrical Software Engineer in Atlanta, GA.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: Design, develop, implement, and analyze test plans for elevator systems and components. Focus on the development and execution of test plans for specific elevator components and systems. Create test plans against requirements and specifications. Perform tests against requirements and document. Test system and component software with validation of system design. Install, configure, and update software on elevator components. Work under immediate supervision and rely on instructions and pre-established guidelines. Report to supervisor or manager. Use computer-assisted engineering and design software and equipment to perform assignments. Understand and use the A17.1 elevator code as a basis for all testing. Read requirements and specifications to fully understand the systems required for the components being used. Validate and verify designs per the outlined requirements and specifications. Evaluate and produce designs for the manufacturing of hydraulic and traction elevators. Adhere to all safety procedures and company safety standards while working in the lab and test tower. Adhere to the corporate compliance policy and ensure behavior in the workplace is that of a responsible professional.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field required. Two years of experience in related engineering position required, including: any experience with electrical engineering concepts; any experience in test case creation. Experience using Linux, Python, C, and C software packages; any experience working in a team environment. Any experience using the computer-aided software SolidWorks, AutoCAD, and Adobe; and any experience using computer-assisted engineering tools and test equipment.
