Description
We are offering a contract for a permanent position as an Event Manager in Atlanta, Georgia. As an Event Manager, you'll be in charge of overseeing the logistics and operations of our events, ensuring they are executed flawlessly and are of the highest quality. Your role will involve planning, coordinating, and executing a diverse range of events that align with our organizational goals.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a strategic partner, providing briefings on upcoming events, priority projects, and escalation issues.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, sales, and executive teams to coordinate event content, design, logistics, and execution.
• Develop and manage team event production schedules, guiding projects to completion in collaboration with various stakeholders.
• Oversee system operations and training for databases and tools such as Quickbase, Briefing Edge/Nexus, Salesforce.com, Qualtrics, SharePoint, and Teams. Introduce additional systems as needed to improve the process.
• Develop comprehensive event plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation, aligning with business goals and sales objectives.
• Ensure brand consistency by developing and maintaining templates and toolkits for consistent, scalable event brand experiences.
• Manage event budgets, track expenditures, and report on ROI.
• Source, negotiate with, and manage event vendors to ensure quality and cost-effectiveness.
• Partner with the team on end-to-end event execution, including venue selection, event design, logistics, and onsite management to ensure a seamless experience.
• Track, analyze, and report on event performance, including registration metrics, attendance, sales pipeline impact, and ROI. Assess success and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements
• Proven experience with 3M products and solutions
• Proficient in using Cisco Webex Meetings for virtual conferences and meetings
• Demonstrable experience with CRM systems for customer relationship management
• Familiarity with budget processes, including planning, tracking, and reporting
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Experience in handling conference calls with multiple stakeholders
• Proficient in project management, with a focus on event-oriented projects
• Knowledge of QuickBase for streamlining and automating business operations
• Experience with Qualtrics for data collection and analysis
• Familiarity with SharePoint for document and storage management
• Proven expertise in budget management, specifically within the context of event planning
• Experience in end-to-end event production, from conceptualization to execution
• Solid background in event planning, preferably for large-scale corporate events
• Proven track record in B2B marketing, with a focus on event marketing
• Familiarity with B2B technology and its application in event management and marketing.
