How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)
As part of the Value Prop Team, you will play a pivotal role in evaluating and optimizing our team dynamics to enhance overall performance. This comprehensive initiative focuses on analyzing team well-being and performance, identifying trends, and recommending improvements to ensure alignment with our strategic objectives. Your work will directly contribute to maximizing productivity and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Work with a team of professionals on multiple projects to:
Measure and analyze team performance and identify patterns for further investigation
Implement project management skills and practices
Collaborate across business units with various stakeholders in a professional setting
Provide feedback to improve team workflows, team effectiveness and evaluate their impact
Participate in data collection efforts impacting cross-functional departments
Identify and implement improvements to existing processes to increase efficiency and productivity
What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)
+ + Undergraduate students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in business administration, Aviation Management, Operations Management, Analytics, Statistics, or a related field
Must be available for the duration of the co-op program
Must be enrolled in an accredited college or university while participating in the program
Ability to present oneself professionally and effectively communicate with various levels of leadership
Team-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement methodologies
Strong organizational, project management, and verbal/written communication skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint
Proficiency in basic data analytics
Willingness and ability to learn new skills
Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles
Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data
Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency
Is at least 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
Ability to digest data and briefly explain insights to support decision making
Comfortable working in both group and individual settings
Track record of seeking leadership roles in student and community organizations
Ability to develop effective presentations to explain background, analysis, results, and recommendations efficiently
Desire to learn leadership techniques and best practices in problem-solving and conflict resolution
Interest in learning more about the airline industry and Delta as a company
