Insight Global Mainframe Application Developer in Atlanta, Georgia
Job Description
Client Corporation is looking for an innovative and motivated Mainframe Application Developer to join our IT Accounting Applications support team on a contract basis. This role is based in our midtown Atlanta office, where you will be involved in several key projects within a fast-paced and dynamic environment. We're seeking a candidate who is adaptable and capable of shifting focus quickly to meet project demands. The ideal candidate is a strong problem solver with expertise in COBOL and CICS, and a deep commitment to delivering high-quality, customer-focused applications.
Compensation:
$50/hr to $55/hr
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.

Skills and Requirements
10 years of industry experience in app dev and support
- 7 years of experience in the following in a mainframe environment
COBOL (programming language)
DB2
JCL
CICS
- Delivering high-quality, customer-focused applications
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience - Experience with IDMS/IDMS-DC, ISPW, TSO, PL/I, and/or ADSO.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies null
