KPMG LLP Manager, Tax (Multiple Positions) in Atlanta, Georgia

KPMG LLP, Manager, Tax (Multiple Positions), Atlanta, GA. Provide tax compliance services to expatriate employees and foreign assignees of corporate clients. Review payroll records, tax returns, tax allocations, and cost projections. Develop and review tax equalization and international assignment policies. Analyze data for tax return preparation and equalizations. Monitor and communicate developments relating to U.S. and international tax. Coordinate employee global tax compliance obligations. Demonstrate in-depth technical accounting knowledge. Pursue business development opportunities. Establish and maintain relationships and professional networks. 40 hours per week, M-F (9:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.)

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Must have a Master's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, and 2 years of related work experience; OR a Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Taxation, Economics, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field, and 5 years of post-bachelor's, progressive related work experience.

Of the required experience, must have 2 years of experience with the following: Reviewing payroll records, tax returns, tax allocations, and cost projections; Conducting tax research for foreign assignees and expatriate employees; Preparing and reviewing tax returns and tax equalization calculations for expatriate employees; Analyzing federal tax issues, Tax gross-up calculation; and Assisting with day-to-day management of client portfolios with regard to tax engagement planning, federal, state and local tax compliance, and tax consulting.

Travel to various locations throughout the US is required up to 20%.
