Job Summary:

Reporting to the Director of Environmental, Health and Safety, the Operations Support Generalist I is responsible for administrative duties including production record-keeping, plant roster updates, SOP distribution and maintenance, analytical report creation and distribution.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Supports the technical, EHS, and production teams by maintaining stock of personal protective equipment (PPE), uniforms, first aid and spill kits, predetermined production kit supplies, and distributing supplies to the respective departments at defined periods.
  • Files and maintains employee safety training records.
  • Communicates new hire and refresher training schedules to the appropriate supervisors. Assists with the creation of training schedules and creates email event invites.
  • Coordinates onboarding and offboarding safety and operations checklists.
  • Compiles testing data provided by the technical team into a standard report format and distributes reports to internal staff members.
  • Schedules equipment verification, calibration, and production equipment repairs utilizing approved vendors with the guidance of the Plant Leadership team.
  • Prepares and distributes or files regular schedules, reports, and documents.
  • Supports production Standard Operating Procedure (SOP) maintenance, distribution, and record-keeping.
  • Administers monthly incentive programs for production staff.
  • Maintains production roster and performs updates to training kits, locker assignments, and QC code assignments.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, including prioritization and follow through.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and responsibilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while meeting deadlines.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent

Physical Requirements:

  • Frequently required to sit, stand, see, use hands and fingers to handle items, reach with hands and arms, stoop, bend, and talk or hear.
  • Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 30 pounds unassisted.
  • The ability to wear personal protective gear such as safety glasses, gloves, and hard hats.
  • Ability to work in varying temperatures.
