Our product organization is growing, and we are seeking a senior product manager to join our merchant solutions team.

The Payment Terminal Senior Product Manager will play a key role in defining and executing the product strategy and roadmap for payment terminal, payment application, and hardware solutions. In this role you will be responsible for leading and managing the lifecycle of our payment terminals, semi-integrated and standalone terminal software solutions and peripherals across our small business and healthcare platforms.

You will be accountable for continual product improvement through extensive understanding of our vendors, clients, competitors and the payment ecosystem.

You will lead a team that works closely with internal and external cross-functional teams, including terminal and POS software development, experience design, commercialization, sales, and operations, to deliver innovative and customer-centric payment solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop business cases for new products and features

  • Engage with our client facing teams to fully understand the needs of current and prospective clients

  • Leverage data driven decision making to prioritize work

  • Define the product vision, roadmap, product requirements, create user stories and define acceptance criteria

  • Own and maintain the terminal product roadmap including ongoing prioritization/backlog

  • Coordination with payment certification team for new certifications

  • Directly own and manage multiple vendor relationships including escalations and overall vendor delivery

  • Manage risks including security, third-party vulnerability, and business continuity of OEM relationships

  • Partner with cross functional commercialization team to develop go-to-market plans, product messaging, and sales enablement materials.

  • Closely collaboration with the merchant operations team to ensure optimal client experience related to client terminal activation and support

  • Serve as senior escalation point for issues/incident resolution management

Required Skills:

  • Significant experience leading product management of payment hardware and payment terminal software solutions in complex environments

  • Deep understanding of designing payment flows UI to deliver best in class results

  • Experience concurrently managing multiple critical multi-million dollar vendor relationships

  • Outstanding interpersonal, communication, organizational, analytical skills with proven ability to influence.

  • Executive presentation experience

  • Previous experience in creation of new payment applications from the ground up
