Inspire Brands Product Manager, Point of Sale in Atlanta, Georgia

The Point of Sale Product manager will be responsible for overseeing the development, enhancement, and maintenance of Inspire Brands POS systems, ensuring it meets customer needs, integrates with other business systems, and aligns with overall strategic goals. They collaborate with cross-functional teams, analyze market trends, and make data-driven decisions to optimize the performance and functionality of the POS product.

As a Data Product Manager, you will be responsible for the delivery and maintenance of the end-to-end data lifecycle for the UDP solution, from data ingestion to building data pipelines (both upstream and downstream integrations), for a specific business domain. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, data science, data & analytics, and operations, to define and execute against a roadmap that aligns with the product’s overall objectives.

This position sits in our Atlanta Support Center, with the requirement to be onsite 80% of the time.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Intake and assess opportunities to create and improve technology products to improve guest experience or internal operations.

  • Prioritize opportunities based on data and evidence gathered from varying parts of the business.

  • Define and create detailed product requirements for use internally and externally.

  • Collaborate with stakeholders and cross-functional teams within Inspire (including Engineering Product Management, Solutions Architecture, Finance, Legal, and Brand teams) to assess and define robust solution requirements.

  • Lead and manage the development of technology products, through the entire product life cycle, from roadmaps to end-of-life and deprecation.

  • Own the administrative user experience for all services within your domain.

  • Manage complex program planning needs, working with product development, technology, and training delivery teams.

  • Define, develop, launch, and oversee the quality of robust solution education programs and workshops for different audiences (customers, partners, etc.).

  • Manage KPIs to evaluate product effectiveness and propose adjustments to improve performance and ensure objectives are met.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum: 4 Year Degree in a relevant field

  • 5-7 years of modern product management practices, agile methodologies, and test-driven development experience.

  • Experience managing e-commerce or Point of Sale product channels, leading cross-functional teams in the delivery of products/services, coordinating development cycles, and delivering against release schedules.

  • A proven track record of driving innovation and delivering outperformance to stated business goals.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, OR ABILITIES

  • Deep understanding of point of sale, consumer mindset, restaurant team member experience, design frameworks, and processes.

  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to lead data-driven discussions to drive alignment around prioritization and impact.

  • Equipped with the technical fluency to be capable of understanding technical constraints and prioritizing and discussing tradeoffs between development and business teams.

  • Knowledge of the range of activities related to the product development lifecycle (e.g. opportunity identification, product discovery, project execution, and post-launch performance measurement and management).

  • Deep knowledge of agile delivery principles.

  • Ability to translate data-driven insights, business intent, customer needs, and/or technical direction into clear, concise, well-documented product requirements.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills – capable of communicating in a way that conveys a clear understanding of the unique needs of widely varying audiences.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills – ability to adapt quickly to changing business priorities and overcome unexpected challenges.

  • Strong project/workflow management, prioritization, and negotiating skills.

  • Ability to influence cross-functional teams and deliver results; conscientious about meeting project deadlines.

  • Ability to select vendors for RFP, and manage vendor relationships and contractual terms.

  • Passion for the restaurant industry and an entrepreneurial spirit, with a strong desire to help shape the future at Inspire Brands.

  • Self-starter personality who can operate with minimal supervision.
