7pm-7:30am / Part-Time / 24 Hours
We're seeking a Registered Nurse, Administrative Supervisor responsible for providing administrative and clinical supervision to nursing personnel on evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts. This individual will be responsible for:
Assessing the overall status of the hospital and plans a course of action for the current shift and the shift immediately to follow.
Clarifies and interprets hospital and nursing policies and procedures to nursing staff, physicians, patients, visitors, and personnel in various hospital departments.
Assists the Charge Nurse in determining required staff based on patient census and acuity.
Participates in the development, implementation, and evaluation of programs, activities, and procedures which ensure the highest quality of patient care outcomes.
Reports and investigates significant events such as patient complaints or issues which have legal implications to the appropriate management.
Minimum Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Bachelor's degree required.
Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
Five years of Registered Nursing experience of which two years must have been in a supervisory or managerial capacity.
BLS and Healthcare Provider certifications required.
ACLS may be required for some locations
