Under minimal supervision, analyzes past and present data to forecast and create models, allowing for predictions about the future; provides a broad range of services and activities that align complex analysis with business initiatives and strategic goals; may lead internal improvement efforts and implementation plans of moderate to advanced complexity; leads the coordination of the information flow among business lines to achieve desired outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
• Conducts a broad range of analyses and uses past and present data to forecast and create models, allowing for predictions about the future; demonstrates strong initiative, innovative thinking skills, and the ability to analyze details and adopt a big picture view; demonstrates advanced problem solving skills and can analyze complex datasets with appropriate logic to identify areas of improvement in support of an overall strategy; may present outcomes in written and verbal format to management; produces data supported, written products that are clear and concise, grammatically correct and in a tone and format befitting the message, audience and objective of the writer; verbally expresses rationale and opinions to others in a clear and concise manner.
• Directs, coordinates, and provides leadership support to cross-functional project teams as needed.
• Reviews, compiles and analyzes detailed and complex statistics and data for major business issues, providing guidance and collaboration in completing analysis, information or process mapping, and/or alignment of the business and related areas; identifies irregularities or issues in work activities before major problems appear; performs senior level analytical research and develops sound recommendations; Leads the effort to resolve issues/problems of moderate to complex scope, in which analysis of situations or data require a review of a variety of factors; organizes data and information in a manner that effectively communicates future predictions and underlying cause/effect relationships.
• Leads process improvement and solution discussions and presents outcomes and actionable recommendations to senior management; applies knowledge of and experience with team products, services and customers to efficiently and effectively document existing workflows and create new data models; draws on experience to resolve complex issues; engages with stakeholders, all levels of management, and others to collect feedback and input.
• Develops and designs new business processes of a major and critical nature and coordinates the updating of existing business processes; identifies the more critical activities and adjust priorities, as needed; serves as a mentor to less-experienced staff for guidance on new projects or assignments; some exposure to District or System level committees; key participant in cross-functional team initiatives and process improvement projects.
Education:
Bachelor’s Degree or four years equivalent experience preferred; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Experience:
Five to eight years preferred
Knowledge Areas:
Business Operations, accounting, project management,
Department knowledge (processes, procedures, operations, etc.)
Technical Skills:
Demonstration of advanced proficiency skills in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, SharePoint and Teams
Proficient Power BI (preferred)
