Responsibilities
Own end-to-end solution delivery for assigned account(s), serving as the primary point of responsibility for delivery matters, including escalations, upsells, and ramp-downs
Govern delivery processes and production in alignment with the selected delivery model
Manage delivery resources by ensuring appropriate staffing with the right skills and seniority levels to meet project roadmaps
Ensure technical leadership for delivery, including planning future-proof architectures and maintaining technical quality standards
Coordinate across disciplines and stakeholders to align project goals and expectations
Build and sustain long-term client partnerships, addressing issues, managing risks, and ensuring client satisfaction
Prepare customer proposals, statements of work, and ensure adherence to EPAM processes, methodologies, and agile delivery models
Develop and maintain delivery plans, including timeframes, quality metrics, and resource allocation
Implement continuous delivery risk management strategies, enabling proactive decisions throughout the lifecycle
Contribute to sales activities, including bid processes, technical expertise, and mentoring delivery managers
Requirements
Proven experience delivering projects in Data and Analytics, including Big Data, Data Warehousing, and Business Intelligence, with familiarity with industry best practices
Strong understanding of data engineering challenges and hands-on experience with data platform engineering, including batch and streaming processes
At least 5 years of experience gathering and interpreting customer business requirements to implement Big Data technologies
Familiarity with multiple Big Data technology stacks (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, Kafka) and hands-on knowledge of tools like Python or Scala
Experience with data visualization tools and technologies, as well as predictive analytics and machine learning techniques
Solid knowledge of classical analytics methods and relevant theories
Proficiency in delivery methodologies, particularly agile, and an understanding of data security challenges
Experience with leading cloud providers (AWS, Azure, GCP) and on-premises to cloud migration projects
Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage both small and large audiences
Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively in a dynamic environment
