The Opportunity: Are you looking for an opportunity to not just develop software, but to build a system that will modernize federal healthcare? We’re looking for a developer with the advanced skills needed to build transformative applications from vision to production-ready system. This role is more than just coding. We need a .NET developer who will use their passion to learn new tools and techniques, identify and implement system improvements, and mentor teammates. On our team, you’ll help customers overcome their most difficult challenges using the latest architectural approaches like microservices, domain driven design, n-tier, etc. Using .NET technologies and Agile lifecycle development, you’ll build and sustain vital applications. You’ll analyze the needs and the environment to make sure the solution you’re developing considers the current architecture and operating environment, as well as future functionality and enhancements. This position is open to remote delivery anywhere within the U.S., to include the District of Columbia. You Have: 5-7 years of programming experience 3-5 years of .NET experience – EF Core, Web APIs Relational database design and development – TSQL, SQL Server, SSMS Experience working with and developing Rest APIs Experience working with Source control (We use Git specifically) Experience using JIRA and Confluence Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools Knowledge of software development and user interface web applications Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust or Suitability/Fitness determination based on client requirements Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics, or 9+ years of experience with .NET software development or software engineer in lieu of a degree Nice If You Have: Experience in the Federal Government, Veterans Affairs, or Healthcare IT sectors Experience with Azure and specific experience with Web App Server IIS 8.5, .NET 4.5.2, and MS SQL Server 2016 Angular/Typescript experience Iris/ObjectScript experience Experience writing windows services/tasks Experience configuring and maintaining IIS Experience using Fortify and other static code analysis tools Microsoft Threat Modeling tool experience Visual Studio Code experience in addition to Visual Studio Knowledge of 508 compliance requirements and knowledge of Agile frameworks SAFe Certifications ThunderYard Solutions is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
