As a part of the Revenue Accounting Team, the Senior Revenue Accountant will be responsible for revenue recognition for various companies and products within the company. The role will work closely with finance teams to ensure that revenue is appropriately recorded and accurately forecasted to provide leadership with the financial information necessary to make decisions within the business.

The Senior Revenue Accountant is a key member of the Corporate Accounting team. They will report to the Director of Revenue Accounting and will enjoy a hybrid workplace model where they will be able to work both remotely, as well as in our newly renovated office in Midtown. (This is NOT a fully remote role) What you'll do: Responsible for maintaining the day-to-day month-end/quarter-end close general accounting functions to ensure accurate application of revenue recognition accounting guidance and partner revenue share calculations Complete balance sheet reconciliations to the G/L, journal entries, and revenue analysis Develop significant relationships and master coordination within the revenue accounting team, as well as with external auditors, finance, billing, and systems team members Evaluate accuracy and completeness of financial results Ownership and understanding of companies and products assigned Perform other revenue accounting related duties as requested by management to ensure organizational goals are met and process improvements are implemented What experience you need: Bachelors in Accounting, Finance, or Business related field; Masters in Accounting/Business or CPA preferred 3 or more years of experience in general accounting or audit 1 years of experience in Revenue Recognition ASC 606 and U.S. Generally Accepted Accounting Principles Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with Oracle JE/ARM reconciliation applications What could set you apart: Experience with Tableau, Hyperion HFM/Essbase, Oracle or similar ERP Analytical ability to think problems through to resolution and create process efficiencies Detail-oriented and able to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet goals and objectives Strong verbal and written communication skills Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
