Home Depot Senior Software Engineer, SAP P2P (Remote) in Atlanta, Georgia

Position Purpose:

Over the next few years, we will be migrating all our financial systems to S/4HANA. With over $100 billion in annual sales, 400,000 associates and 2,200 stores, this will be one of the largest tech finance transformations. The initiative is powered by the latest SAP Activate methodology blended with an agile realization and support phase. As a member of the team, you will leverage SAP technologies and collaborate with a group of industry experts to advance this company-wide transformation. This position requires experience in architecting, designing, developing and supporting SAP solutions leveraging SAP technologies in the Finance domain, specifically in the area of S/4 P2P. The candidate is expected to have strong functional knowledge of SAP Materials Management and Finance Integration. In addition, the candidate should have at least 2 implementations and operational support experience.

  • 10% Supports and Enables - Helps grow junior engineers by providing guidance on modern software development frameworks, and leading technical discussions

Travel Requirements:

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 6 plus years of experience in IT analyst or consulting position with knowledge and experience relating business requirements to sound functional solutions.

  • 4 plus years of hands-on experience working with SAP Materials Management Module with Finance Integration in business process analysis, systems analysis and design, and technical/functional solutions delivery (configuration and custom development).

  • Experience in creating Pricing procedures for different procurement types and familiar with Pricing conditions, Condition Tables, Access Sequences,Schemas,Pricing formulas and routines and Reference conditions

  • Knowledge of all the major SAP MM functionalities including Configurations related to Purchase orders, Deliveries, Account determination, Consignment process, Material Master, Info-record & source list

  • Experience in SAP Vistex and Rebate functionality is a plus

  • Experience in managing different interfaces with external systems and error handling

  • Strong understanding and proficiency in 'As-Is' and 'To-Be' Mapping

  • Proven ability to develop complex SAP solutions. Excellent facilitation skills, including experience planning and participating in SAP blueprint and design sessions.

  • Have been through at least 2 complete implementation cycle.

  • Experience with interacting with third party resources, including offshore teams a plus

  • Experience utilizing formal testing tools strongly desired (experience with HP ALM testing tools a plus)
