The Customer Experience (CXP) organization in Azure is looking for a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer II to help us build Mission critical services and applications. Responsibilities

As a Full Stack Software Engineer II, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining our web applications, working closely with our design and product teams to deliver exceptional user experiences. You will be involved in all stages of the development process, from ideation to deployment, and will have the opportunity to work on a wide range of projects and demonstrate your technical abilities. As a valued member of our team, you’ll engage in the full engineering lifecycle—from initial research and discovery to rapid iteration on promising concepts, solution prototyping, feature design, and end-to-end delivery. Your contributions will span system design, quality, scalability & performance optimizations, and monitoring & telemetry, culminating in successful service rollout and ongoing live site support.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C++, C#, or Java

  • OR equivalent experience.

  • 2+ years of experience in designing, building, and maintaining complex web applications with a particular emphasis on the User Interface

  • 2+ years of experience in front-end web development (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, Usability Testing) and modern front-end frameworks; such as: React or Vue or Angular

Other Requirements:

Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role.

Microsoft Cloud Background Check:

  • This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript.

  • Development experience, C++ or C# or Java.

  • Experience with one or more cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS, etc.)

  • Experience creating, developing, delivering, deploying, maintaining online services

  • Developing features and experiences for large-scale, cross-browser applications across both mobile and desktop.

  • Working knowledge of building rich multimedia experiences on web.

  • Experience building and shipping distributed web services

Software Engineering IC3 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $94,300 - $182,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $120,900 - $198,600 per year.
