CyberSource Corporation, a Visa Inc. company, needs a Software Engineer - Sr. Consultant (multiple openings) in Atlanta, GA to be responsible for the architecture, design, development, and implementation of software applications. Evaluate and introduce technology tools and processes that enable Visa to develop products and solutions, to embrace business opportunities and/or improve operational efficiency. Develop and implement unified control center and monitoring tools to measure, monitor, and report on platform, data availability, utilization, capacity trend, and overall health metrics. Formulate methods to enable consistent data loading and optimize data operations. Monitor health of platforms, generate performance reports, and monitor and provide continuous improvements. Ensure on-time delivery of projects, production support plans, and knowledge transfer for long-term supportability of upgrades, enhancements, and deployments. Understand usage patterns and workload requirements of new projects. Develop code and mentor junior developers to ensure deliverables are on time, within budget, and with good code quality. Position reports to the Visa Atlanta, Georgia office and may allow for partial telecommuting.
Qualifications:
Employer will accept a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or closely related field, followed by 10 years of experience in the job offered or in a related occupation

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $149,760.00 USD to $216,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity.
