Inspire Brands Sr. Business Analyst - Order to Cash in Atlanta, Georgia

The Sr. Business Analyst- Order to Cash position will play a vital role in leveraging the Oracle cloud suite of products and SaaS solutions to optimize our business processes and drive efficiency in the business-owned system requirements and partnership with the IT organization. This position must understand Order to Cash accounting processes and business functions. This individual must demonstrate strong problem-solving and analytical skills, as well as excellent communication skills when interfacing with both the business and the IT team.

This position sits in our Atlanta Support Center, with an expectation to be onsite Tuesday-Thursday.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborate: Work with cross-functional teams to design and implement effective solutions using Oracle OTCF Cloud modules, tailored to the unique needs of accounting functions.

  • Improvements: Perform detailed gap analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide recommendations for optimizing system functionality within the Oracle cloud.

  • Improvements: Help the business to cost-effectively implement technology improvements and solutions.

  • Oracle Cloud (AR sub-ledger and master data): Monitor, track, and troubleshoot system issues, identifying root causes and implementing appropriate resolutions to minimize downtime and optimize performance while keeping business stakeholders apprised of the status and resolution steps

  • Manage incoming/outgoing data from 3rd party sources to feed systems we own and banking partners.

  • Perform the role of SME for the SaaS applications owned by the business working with the vendor to solve any issues.

  • Manage all work in Smartsheet, with excellent attention to detail, to provide business and leadership with real-time status.

  • Compliance: Ensure processes adhere to company policies, industry regulations, SOX controls, and best practices.

  • QA: Conduct thorough testing and quality assurance activities to validate system changes, ensuring successful implementation of all projects impacting OTCF and ensuring minimal disruption to accounting operations.

  • Project Mgmt: Manage small business projects utilizing waterfall project plans and agile methodology while partnering with IT on project delivery.

  • Requirements: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements specific to the accounting systems.

  • UAT Testing: Help create UAT scripts and lead UAT testing to ensure quality testing and auditable test results are fully documented.

  • Change Mgmt: Provide end-user training and support to facilitate the smooth adoption of new processes and system functionalities.

  • Oracle Cloud: Serve as a subject matter expert on Oracle Cloud suite of products, staying updated with the latest features, enhancements, and industry trends.

  • Collections, RMCS, Bill Management, Customer Sales Reporting Portal in the PAAS

  • Participate in system upgrades, patches, and maintenance activities, ensuring uninterrupted system performance. (communication and coordination with the business).

  • IT Collaboration (Cloud): Collaborate with the Enterprise Applications team to configure, customize, and implement solutions, while adhering to industry best practices and standards.

  • Investigate, track, and resolve OTCF sub-ledger issues with interfaces.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • A 4-year degree in business administration or computer science is required.

  • 4+ years of Proven experience as a Business Analyst, having worked in financial systems.

  • Functional and Systems Admin experience is a plus.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, or ABILITIES

  • Strong knowledge of Oracle cloud modules and their applications within accounting functions.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to document complex business requirements and work with IT for delivery.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

  • Attention to detail and a focus on delivering high-quality results.

  • Project management skills and experience in improvement initiatives.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a complex and dynamic environment and work independently or as part of a team.
