Description
Robert Half's Management Resources team is offering a contract Sr. Indirect Sourcing Consultant employment opportunity for a globally recognized hospitality client in metro Atlanta.
The selected candidate will join an established indirect sourcing project team with focus on the IT sector.
Contract:
Contract Rate: $42-50/hr. (based on experience)
Work Schedule: Hybrid
Responsibilities:
• Assisting the Indirect Sourcing Team with sourcing categories of spend such as Information Technology (services, hardware, software)
• Involvement in conducting sourcing services such as RF(x) development and end to end management using a 7-step strategic sourcing process
• Collaborating closely with internal stakeholders throughout the RFP process
• Uploading RFPs into Globality and conducting RFP data analysis & reporting
• Assisting with vendor sourcing, selection, onboarding, training, relationship management, and contract compliance
• Interpreting legal contract terms and engaging in contract negotiation
• Identifying areas/gaps in the sourcing department and taking on tasks personally without direction
• Contributing ideas to the sourcing team around department transformation and demonstrating flexibility in a changing environment
• Comfortable implementing a plan and working collaboratively with others.
Requirements
• Must possess at least 5 years of experience in Indirect Procurement.
• Demonstrated proficiency in RFX, Contract Pricing, and Pricing Analysis is crucial.
• Proven ability to negotiate pricing and establish supplier agreements.
• Experience in selecting suppliers and managing supplier contracts.
• A track record of effectively monitoring supplier performance.
• Expertise in stakeholder engagement and stakeholder management.
• Proficiency in Category Management is a must.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
