Purpose:
This role is responsible for leading the strategic roadmap for Global Business Services (GBS) as part of Xerox’s Transformation initiatives, aimed at driving enterprise transformation and delivering $300M in incremental operating profit by 2026. The position requires aligning GBS operations with Xerox Reinvention milestones, optimizing processes across four key business lines, and developing the foundational technical capabilities required to achieve the company’s financial and strategic goals. The role serves as a critical connector across the program to ensure the successful execution of the company’s reinvention strategy.
The role interacts directly with the Executive Committee, Global Process Owners, Business Process Leads, the Xerox Reinvention Office, Reinvention workstreams leaders, initiative owners and functional liaisons and functional leaders, with an expected close partnership with the other leaders in GBS, in particular the Chief Information Officer and the Chief Data Officer.
The position is remote (east coast hours preferred) with expected travel to corporate offices regularly and as needed.
Responsibilities:
Build the Plan of Plans
Build a plan that ties together the milestones, the quick wins, reinvention workstreams – this plan will be built and managed so that it supports our overall vision
Within the plan, a ramp to our go live dates with dependencies clearly called out
Baselined and managed through Zero Float activities across the firm at large – this role will touch just about every executive in the firm to ensure that there is a path to completion
Milestone plan reflected from TCS into our Plan of Plans and decisions become predecessors or successors to that
Align the reinvented fast track business capabilities through the GBS service owners
Align the interim releases (major and minor) for GBS woven into the plan of plans
Create the GBS “Plan of Plans” to represent the path to continuously more efficient destinations, based on milestones and iterative release schedules, that progressively achieve greater operational effectiveness and higher-quality experiences for clients, partners and employees, all in an environment with less complexity (both technology and operations)
Program Leader
Ensure Xerox does not deviate from the “Clean Core” methodology on SAP S/4 HANA by participating in the change review board associated with material changes requested by Global Process Owners
Ensure scope is sufficiently documented and capabilities are delivered to fulfill those requirements in the new enterprise architecture and meet the firms Reinvention strategy, including a revenue mix shift, margin expansion and broad-based leveraging of GBS effectively
Work with regional leadership teams when required to ensure that the appropriate resources are identified and aligned to achieve the intended cost savings targets
Champion project Fast Track across all Global Process Owners and Business Process Leads through, among other things, leadership of and participation in design workshops
Experience/Education:
Prior work leading within a large-scale business transformation program that included a new enterprise architecture built around a new ERP foundation
Understanding the typical delivery lifecycle and appreciates the level of business change required alongside technical delivery
Proven ability to lead a team i.e. set goals, motivate, coach, give feedback and retain control
Proven stakeholder management skills across all levels of an organization
Ability to spot inefficiencies and improve current ways of working, i.e. continuous improvement mindset
Confidence to provide inspirational leadership in challenging situations, able to influence at board and executive level under pressure
