The core purpose of this role is to lead the day-to-day administration efforts for Wholesale. This role will enable Wholesale and the Wholesale Executive Office to operate more efficiently and achieve Wholesale’s strategic objectives. This role will help to coordinate Wholesale’s strategic agenda, leadership routines, communication and other activities aligned with Wholesale’s strategic priorities in partnership with the senior leadership team. This role will have frequent interaction with Wholesale’s leadership team.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Business Management & Administration

• Work with Wholesale Strategic Execution Director to implement the strategic agenda and develop and execute leadership routines.

• Own Wholesale’s calendar of events and proactively manage all activities to ensure Wholesale’s leadership team operates effectively given its scale.

• Develop executive presentations and maintain high standards for execution.

• Work closely with Wholesale leaders to drive ongoing progress against strategic and critical BAU activities.

• Serve as a dot-connector across Wholesale and with functional partners to drive successful execution of strategic priorities.

Client Entertainment, Executive Calendar, Special Projects

• Plan and execute special events and activities, ensuring high standards for execution.

• Partner with teammate enablement leader to ensure a thoughtful and consistent approach to entertaining top clients and prospects.

• Work closely with the Chief Wholesale Officer’s executive assistant to manage the calendar, routines, and cadence of market visits and client meetings the Chief Wholesale Officer should attend.

• Work with internal and external partners/vendors/third parties as needed for events.

• Support ad hoc Wholesale projects as needed.

Communication and Stakeholder Engagement

• Work closely with communications team to review and provide input on Wholesale communications.

• Play a key role in driving above Truist average LT Teammate engagement scores.

• Promote effective and proactive communication among the Wholesale Strategic Execution and Business Management team and the Wholesale Leadership team.

• Manage escalated client complaints to proper resolution in partnership with Client Advocacy and BURM.

• Partner and coordinate with teams across Truist and key functions including Finance, HR, Legal, Risk and Technology, to educate and align on business initiatives and the execution of activities on behalf of Wholesale.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, or equivalent education and related training or experience.

• 10+ years relevant work experience in administration, operations, risk management, management consulting or in the financial services industry.

• Strong executive presence.

• Strong interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills.

• Ability to collaborate and build relationships with colleagues at all levels and achieve goals without direct control over resources.

• Demonstrate an outstanding ability to communicate effectively and confidently and to work well in cross-functional teams.

• Proven track record demonstrating a high level of personal initiative, setting, and achieving challenging goals.

• Openness to an environment of active developmental feedback from peers and managers.

• Ability to work in a fast paced environment while having a high level of attention to detail.

• Advanced MS Excel and PowerPoint skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Advanced graduate degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent academic field preferred.
