Summary The position reflects the need for an Information Technology Specialist who has demonstrated experience with the primary responsibility for the development, modification, or enhancement of specific IT products, systems or services, constrained by relationships among scope, resources, and time while defining unprecedented conditions, resolving critical problems, and developing, testing and implementation new technologies. Responsibilities The incumbent will service as an Information Technology Specialist specializing in Software and Adaption Development at a Terminal Second Level Engineering Operational Facility. Works with National Airspace System (NAS) Terminal Second Level Automation Engineering systems, applying technical automation and air traffic familiarization to resolve Software and Adaptation problems, create and maintain the adequate solutions and provide direct support to air traffic operations. Incumbent will provide technical and analytical guidance to the project teams and relevant stakeholders while ensuring that the SW and adaptation baselines and standards are met for assigned applications or systems. Duties include but are not limited to Design and prototyping, development, integration, test, deployment, maintenance and support of Air Traffic related Software, adaptation, adaptation tools, databases, development environment or other NAS products and services. Analysis of various system requirements. Software and/or adaptation development, provisioning, and software configuration concepts and principles. Software configuration management and application deployment tools. Create, review and maintain various system documentation. Specialized experience is experience that has equipped you with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform successfully the duties of the position.
