Responsibilities
Responsible for handling all types of materials coming in and going out, within or near plant, yard, or work site; performs a combination of duties such as, receiving from tracks, manually handling items by operating fork lift, Hilo, cart or hand truck, verifies data, and quantities, weights, secures loads, distributes and assure that Material handling is being done accordingly to the necessary documentation or instruction including but not limited to work order, verbal instructions or other form of instruction. The material handler also ensures that materials are placed in their proper locations and are available for use where they are needed. Enter data in the company ERP system as required. In the performance of duties, the Material Handler must observe all safety and operational procedures, including maintaining all required paperwork, safety logs, preventive maintenance logs and checklist to meet quality, and delivery expectations.

manual lifting up to 50lbs
standing for 8 hours at one time
