We are Responsive We have Integrity We are Dynamic We exhibit Excellence PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Develop and implement supply chain strategies and programs to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations Lead cross-functional teams to manage complex supply chain programs, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and supplier relationships Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of supply chain programs and identify areas for improvement Identify and mitigate supply chain risks by implementing appropriate contingency plans and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements (FAR/DFAR) Identify process improvement opportunities within the supply chain, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and implement best practices to enhance operational efficiency Collaborate with internal stakeholders, such as procurement, production, and material teams, to align supply chain programs with overall business objectives Oversee relationships with key suppliers and ensure adherence to quality standards Develop and manage the supply chain programs budget Ensuring effective allocation of resources and delivering cost savings where possible Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to a team of supply chain professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS Bachelors degree in Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Business Administration, or equivalent required Masters degree is a plus Significant experience 8 years within supply chain management, including at least 3-4 years in purchasing Experience in program management and working with global supply chains is highly desirable Ability to analyze complex supply chain data, identify trends and insights, and make data-driven decisions to optimize supply chain operations Demonstrate ability to develop and execute supply chain strategies aligned with organizational goals, and to drive innovation and change within the supply chain function Proven track record of effectively leading and developing teams, fostering collaboration, and driving results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex supply chain concepts and strategies to stakeholders at all levels of organization Strong problem-solving skills Ability to identify root causes, develop practical solutions, and drive implementation to address supply chain challenges and optimize performance Strong skills required in overall communication, presentation, analysis, team rapport with the ability to be flexible and adapt to change PHYSICAL EFFORT Sight: must be able to regularly read computer screen, reports, and various documents with detail and clarity to accomplish work tasks in a safe and efficient manner, including regular use of adequate close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus Hearing: must be able to regularly hear well enough to communicate WORKING CONDITIONS Physical Location: This position operates between an office and manufacturing plant environment and is often assigned to a specific shift or hours.
