Senior Mechanical Project Manager Position Summary Provide overall project management and direction for mechanical construction projects of \$10 million or more, with a focus on self-performing general contractor work and water/wastewater construction projects at R.H. White Construction. Responsibilities: Safety and Compliance: Adhere to and promote all Company Safety Policies and the Company Code of Conduct. Resource Allocation: Plan, organize, and staff key field positions through regional department heads to achieve the best allocation of resources within a defined budget to meet project expectations. Project Planning: Establish project objectives, policies, procedures, and performance standards according to the Pre-Planning Process outlined in the company Policy. Client Liaison: Initiate and maintain liaison with prime clients and NE contacts to facilitate construction activities. Construction Oversight: Monitor and control construction through administrative direction of on-site Superintendent to ensure the project is built on schedule and within budget; investigate potentially serious situations and implement corrective measures. Representation: Represent the company in project meetings; assist in labor negotiations/strategy meetings, etc. Financial Management: Manage financial aspects of contracts (fee payment, purchases, rental equipment, income/expenses, change orders, etc.) to protect the company\'s interest while maintaining good relationships with clients. Reporting: Support all company reporting functions such as weekly reports, timecards, annual reviews, etc. Risk Management: Protect the company from improper \"At-Risk\" activities, especially by monitoring adherence to all safety procedures. Project Management: Manage both Design Build and Bid Build projects, including overseeing the design process for Design/Build projects. Supervisory Responsibilities: Supervise Project Superintendent and other R.H. White employees and subcontractors assigned to the project. Requirements: Education: Bachelor\'s degree in engineering or equivalent. Experience: 10 years\' experience in construction, design, finance, and management required, with a focus on mechanical and water/wastewater projects. Knowledge: Must have a working knowledge of structural, mechanical, and electrical civil and building practices and concepts. Skills: Superior organizational skills, ability to make independent decisions, and multi-task. Leadership: Confidence in directing and coordinating staff, sub-contractors, and consultants. Management Techniques: Innovative and effective management techniques to maximize employee performance. Software Proficiency: Thorough understanding of construction software, corporate and industry practices, processes, standards, etc., and their impact on project activities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and scheduling software (Primavera, Microsoft Project, etc.). Certifications: CSL or willingness to obtain within one year of hire date. OSHA-30 (will assist with). Medical and Legal Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain a DOT medical card. Valid U.S. Driver\'s License.
