The focus is on fostering independence, comfort, and connection, ensuring residents enjoy a fulfilling and worry-free lifestyle every day.\ \ TheMaintenance Assistantjob inAuburn, Maineis responsible for assisting with general maintenance tasks, including preparing vacant rooms, fixing minor wall repairs, painting, spot cleaning carpets, and replacing light bulbs. Youll have a solid understanding of basic building upkeep and maintenance. This is a part-time, long term position.\ \ Maintenance Assistant Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent
- Entry-level experience in general maintenance
- Ability to read, write, and understand the English language
- Reliable and personable, with the ability to interact respectfully with elderly individuals
- Completion of a dementia course (required upon hire)
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, lifting, and standing for extended periods
- Positive attitude and strong teamwork skills
- Comfortable working in a senior living environment
\ Maintenance Assistant Details:
- Schedule:Monday and Tuesday, 7:00 AM 3:00 PM (Possibility for additional hours)
- Pay Rate:\$18/hour
- Start Date:ASAP
- Dress Code:Uniform provided; closed-toe shoes required (no jeans)
