Orion Industries CNC Machinist - Day shift in Auburn, Washington

Duties and Responsibilities: 1.  Understands basic machining techniques. 2.  Processes product using various CNC Machines. 3.  Able to set up and operate 3 axis CNC equipment.   4.  Verify your own product using basic inspection equipment.   5.  Deburr parts. 6.  Follow Quality Management Systems (QMS) procedures.   7.  Process work within performance and delivery requirements:

  • Meet established productivity standards. 
  • Follow communicated job priority instructions.  
  • Communicate production delays and problems to appropriate supervisor.  
  • Utilize ERP system to document work movement.  
  1. Teamwork
  • Support all members of the Manufacturing and Orion team fully to achieve company, departmental, and personal goals, and objectives.
  • Maintain 6S and Lean manufacturing best practices.
  • Participate in team and company meetings.
  • Role model proper work ethics, behaviors, hygiene, and dress.
  1. Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Previous manufacturing experience (preferably experience running CNC Mills)
  • Ability to interpret blueprints and specifications
  • Experience using basic inspection equipment
  • Willingness to support training needs of new employees
