Job Skills / Requirements
We currently have a career opportunity for a Regional Trainer in our Western Washington Region. We are looking for a candidate who can work in a team environment as leader and mentor. We are seeking an individual with previous training experience preferably military or law enforcement.
This is a great opportunity to forward the mission of the company and build on the skillset of our current team members so we can effectively fulfill our customer’s security mission.
Training courses to include:
Defensive Tactics/Use of Restraints
OC
AVADE
Report Writing/SOCS
Firearms/Taser
On-going Expectations
+ + Motivate and train new officers as well as current officers
Develop new curriculum / update current courses
Ensure all trainings needs are being met to company and Department of Licensing standards
Ensure all training of officers are up to date
Ensure the officers meet our uniform standards
Work closely with the Corporate Training Manager and assist with any additional duties
- Minimum Requirements
Have life experiences to be an excellent trainer
Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality
Must be able to work within a team environment
Must be self-motivated and able to motivate others
Must be able to work all hours and days
Travel is required occasionally
Must have reliable transportation
Must have excellent oral and communication skills
Physically fit and meet the physical requirements of the job
Attention to detail and follow-up
Ability to meet deadline
Supervisory skills a plus
Must be able to obtain an Washington and Oregon State Armed Security Instructor License (no felonies or gross misdemeanors)
