Responsibilities
Oversee Daily Operations: Manage the day-to-day activities in the warehouse, including shipping, receiving, inventory control, and order fulfillment.
Staff Supervision: Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff, ensuring proper workflow and adherence to safety standards.
Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, ensure accurate stock records, and coordinate with purchasing or production teams to maintain appropriate supply levels.
Safety and Compliance: Enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies.
Process Improvement: Identify inefficiencies in warehouse operations and implement improvements to enhance productivity and reduce costs.
Reporting: Generate reports on warehouse performance, including key metrics like productivity, accuracy, and safety.
Equipment Maintenance: Ensure all warehouse equipment is properly maintained and in good working condition.
These tasks can vary depending on the company's size and the scope of the role.
