The Wire/Pipe Supervisor directlycollaborates withCDCleadership to ensure the smooth operation ofdailywire and pipedepartmentfunctions.Thisincludesall activities related to the flow ofwire/pipe product in and out of the warehouse. This is an exempt role and will report directly to the Inbound Operations Manager. What You Will Do: Directly responsible for all wire room and pipe yard activities including inventory, production and accuracy Partner with 2ndshift Wire/Pipe supervisor for optimal performance of the Wire/Pipe department Monitor and improve safety performance Manage and optimize wire machine utilization, partner with maintenance team for service and repair Plan, schedule, and maintain coverage for shifts Monitor wire cutting and pipe queue to direct resources accordingly Ensure wire cutting and pipe yard is performing to expected customer service standards Mentor and grow a world class cross-trained team Utilize North Coast Tool Kit to positively influence key performance indicators Other duties as assigned What You Will Bring: Proactive communication skills High level of organization Great follow through on tasks Team oriented approach to tasks with excellent customer service skills Previous warehouse and/or wire, pipe experience Proficient in the use of Excel, Outlook, and Word Comfortable writing/responding to emails Proficient in using Solar for trouble shooting common questions related to deliveries Committed to 100% accuracy and doing tasks right the first time (DIRTFT) Physical Requirements and Work Environment: Repetitive lifting and pulling of heavy objects (50+ lbs.) Mix of warehouse, office and outside work environments Frequent computer, phone, and scanner usage Usual 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday 5am-2pm however, based on business needs evenings and weekend hours may occasionally be required Requires punctual and reliable on-site attendance Salary & Compensation: This position is an exempt position and not subject to overtime.
